Survival bows out on 6,000 PBS transmissions

Our 4 x 60′ version of our series Survival, funded by the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, has reached the end of its 8-year run on PBS. It has notched up nearly 6,000 programme transmissions across 176 PBS stations – meaning each one repeated the series and average of 8 times.  35% of all the tx slots were prime time or prime shoulder.

A big thank you to the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation for making it happen and OPB for handling distribution so brilliantly.

The series was delivered to OPB on on tape. Anyone remember that?
