Drunken Butterflies launched in style last night at the Hackney Picturehouse. The excited crowd were glued to their seats as our teen screen heroes made their way through the ups and downs of a nightmare Saturday in the city. The audience, alternately laughing and gasping in amazement at our Butterflies’ antics, erupted in lively debate the instant the credits rolled.
Fittingly, the film was washed down with a pint or two in the Picturehouse’s Attic venue and it was immediately clear that everyone had an opinion, everyone had chosen a side – Team Sarah or Team Nicky? Are you a Liam or a Chris? Is Mr. Krabs actually a cannibal, and doesn’t everyone know a Tracy Bell?
