BBC World News "2007 Documentary of the Year"

For the second year running Rockhopper TV has won the BBC World ‘Best Documentary of the Year’ in a worldwide viewer poll. Rockhopper collected nearly 48% of the vote for “Kill or Cure?: India’s Black Fever”.

 

The film was set in the state of Bihar, India, and featured the work of the California’s OneWorld Health which has been working with local doctors and scientists to develop and bring to market a cost-effective drug to treat this most neglected of diseases that blights millions of lives.
