Neglected tropical conditions kill almost half a million people a year and blight the lives of millions more. Treatment for these diseases, such as elphantiasis and bilharzia, costs as little as 50 cents per person for an entire year but they are often ignored. In the second half of the film the team discuss Trachoma, a bacterial infection transmitted by flies. It can eventually leads to blindness.
