You are watching Inflatable operating theatre Season 1 Episode 24

Surgical training is a long and complex process and is especially difficult in poorer countries.

Professor Kneebone of Imperial College has come up with a low-cost, portable, simulated operating theatre developed to train junior surgeons anywhere in the world.

Inflated in just three minutes, it can be adapted to teach several different operations and three cameras allow students to review and improve their operating techniques.
