Survival bows out on 6,000 PBS transmissions

The 4 x 60' version of our series Survival, funded by the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, has reached the end of its 8-year run on PBS. It has notched up nearly 6,000 programme transmissions across 176 PBS stations - meaning each one repeated the series 9-10 times.  35% of all the tx slots were prime time or prime shoulder.

A big thank you to the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation for making it happen and OPB for handling distribution so brilliantly.

The series was delivered to OPB on on tape. Anyone remember that?

Meanwhile, the 78 short films that made up The Health Show series, also funded by the BIll and Melinda Gates Foundation, continue to thrive.
